What is the plan for the Bree Street Community Hall?

This is a developing space; the first phase is making the hall available with the logistics to support bookings and events after 17:00 Monday – Saturday.

We’ll keep you posted here and on social media with developments.

Bonus Question: What is the history of the space?

The area behind Clarke’s has been a part of Clarke’s since the day we opened. It’s first four years were spent as The Pit, a time imprinted in any Capetonian’s mind that was around for it. Then we built her into Hail Pizza where we made the best pizza in Cape Town for about 2 years. After that the space became an extension of Clarke’s and often a space used for events big and small.
